  5. Deer Creek Circle at Shadow Hill Road: Reviewed photos of areas of concern. Recommend that CJW prepare a task order to do a scoping report.
  6. Augusta Street Bridge: HC Road & Bridge will reconstruct the bridge.

  8. Decanting East Digester: Will replace 8” line with 4” stainless steel line for $2,914.

 

  1. SCADA: Logic is estimating a replacement cost of $100,000-$150,000. 
  2. WWTP Improvement Project: Value engineering options. Still waiting on cost options from Ross Construction.
  3. Montgomery P/S Control Panel Upgrade: Recommend accepting Alliance Pump & Mechanical quote of $10,070.67. Recommend approval, 3-0.
  4. March Operations Report: Information only.
  5. 4. Park & Rec:
  6. Request from sponsors of Soul Survivor Camp: Recommend to waive shelter fees. Pool will cost $200/day. Recommend approval, 3-0.
  7. ADA parking at the Community Center: Recommend 6 standard parking spots be converted to 4 ADA parking spots.
  8. Summer Swim Team Shed (old concession building at outdoor pool): Staff is evaluating painting the trim vs. replacing trim with metal.
  9. Artesian Pool Improvement Project: Sidewalks to be poured 4/30. Will run electrical, construct new light bases, complete installation of base rock. Target date for laying asphalt is 5/13.
  10. Soccer complex:
  • Parking lot repairs and striping: Street Department is filling cracks. Will coordinate striping with another striping project.
  • Inadequate amount of parking: Investigating options for increasing parking.
  1. Share & Care property adjacent to Aquatic Center: Interested in working with City for expansion of Parks & Recreation.

  1. Request for a variance from Section 3.A. of the Gerhart Industrial Park Declaration of Restrictive Covenants:

No building, loading docks or outside storage shall be constructed upon any site within seventy-five (75) feet of any street right-of-way line in existence or proposed by the City or it successor at the time of such construction.  No loading docks shall be constructed so as to be at the front of a building or fronting any street.

Co-applicants (City of Clinton/Bohannan Investments, LLC) are requesting approval of a 35-foot set back from the street ROW, due to the location of the floodplain.
