Henry County Library Adds New Online Databases for Patron Use

The Henry County Library is pleased to announce the addition of three new online databases for patron use beginning on April 1st. The databases will be accessible within the Clinton and Windsor libraries or may be accessed from home with a valid library card number.

Introducing Value Line: The Value Line product is a comprehensive and multifaceted investment management solution which contains some of the most actively traded U.S. exchange-listed stocks. Value Line has extensive research powers using aggregate data and ratings on industries and markets, model portfolios, and more. Value Line assists in anticipating the future of investing with their performance-proven Timeliness Rank™, which forecasts a company’s relative price performance for six to 12 months, and Safety Rank™, which measures risk.

Introducing Newspapers.com Library Edition: Newspapers.com Library Edition provides online access to nearly 20,000 historical newspapers. It offers full-page images with searchable full text for millions of pages of newspapers dating from the early 1700s to the early 2000s. Newspapers.com Library Edition contains full runs and portions of runs of known regional and state titles, to small local newspapers in the United States and other countries.

Introducing Fold3 Library Edition: Fold3 Library Edition by Ancestry combines official military records with deep first-person content, including bios, photos, letters, and more. More than 500 million searchable records span hundreds of years. Coverage includes: Revolutionary War, Civil War, War of 1812, Mexican American and Early Indian Wars, World Wars I and II, Korean and Vietnam Conflicts, recent wars, international records, and more. Fold3 Library Edition also encompasses the following special collections: African American archives, American Revolution archives, Native American archives, FBI Case File archives, World War II archives, and Holocaust archives.

The following databases are also currently offered to Henry County Library patrons: Ancestry, Heritage Quest, Ebsco, Learning Express, and Rosen Digital.
