National Weather Service is expecting a rain/snow mix to move in from the south this evening around sunset. The mix is expected to quickly change over to all snow before midnight then continue into the morning hours. Snowfall will come to an end by mid day Wednesday, with impacts to the morning commute possible.
1-3 inches of snow is expected across the area, with locally higher amounts possible south and east of the Kansas City Metro.
