A beloved tradition is set to light up the skies once again as Lowry City prepares for its annual Independence Day fireworks show on Friday, July 4 at dusk. The dazzling display will take place at the city ballfield, offering families a festive evening filled with patriotism and pyrotechnics.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a comfortable view of the show, which promises to deliver a memorable night of celebration and community pride.
The city is also calling on residents and supporters to help make the event a success through donations. Contributions can be mailed to the City of Lowry City, PO Box 143, Lowry City, MO 64763, or dropped off in person at City Hall, located at 406 West 4th Street.
“Every dollar goes directly to honoring those who serve and protecting the freedoms we all enjoy,” city officials said. “We’re grateful to all who help continue this meaningful tradition.”
While the Lowry City Ballfield Renovation group will not be hosting the popular inflatables event this year, the fireworks show remains the main attraction. In the event of rain, the celebration will be rescheduled for Saturday, July 5.
Mark your calendars, grab your loved ones, and get ready for a night of oohs, aahs, and red, white, and blue spirit.
