Clinton Public Works Committee to Meet May 27 at City Hall

The City of Clinton’s Public Works Committee will hold an open meeting on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. at City Hall, located at 105 E. Ohio Street.

The agenda includes a range of updates and requests spanning multiple departments. In the Parks & Recreation segment, committee members will review a request to use Hurt Park, receive an update on the Artesian Pool, and discuss the soccer complex concession stand.

The Street Department will provide information on preparations for the upcoming Olde Glory Days Parade, review a CJW fee proposal for the design of the Water Street bridge, and consider quotes for an IMS pavement analysis of city streets and parking lots.

Waste Water topics on the agenda include the replacement of the west sludge basin aerator, the April operations report, an update on the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) upgrade, and a discussion on polymer use.

Committee members Roger House, Cameron Jackson, and Rob Hills will be joined by city staff, contract personnel from Alliance Water Resources (AWR), and other invited guests, including Mayor Carla Moberly.

The meeting is open to the public. Residents interested in city infrastructure, parks, and public utilities are encouraged to attend.
