- 1. Street Department:
- City wide clean up report: Info only
- Transfer Station roll-off truck: Truck is not functioning. Being towed for repairs. City is accepting only household trash, for the time being. PWC requests Mayor to approve $7,500 for leasing a roll-off truck for four (4) weeks.
- 2. Park & Rec:
- Pool House Update: Architect met with City staff and contractor on Monday, 5/8. Rough-in plumbing and electrical completed. Roof approx. 80% installed. Interior painting to begin this week. Exterior columns to be patched and painted.
- Update on Aquatic Center pumps: Plan to install 5/11 or 5/12.
- Report from Park Board meeting: Park Board met 5/8 and received updates on projects and programs.
- Antioch Hill Park Urban Conservation Project: West Central Community Action Agency is working with City to donate a tract of land (see attachment) to enhance City’s ability to complete project, if City will cover the costs associated with the transaction. City has engaged Whitehead Consultants, Inc. to produce a staked boundary survey and legal description of the tract. Cost for WCI services is $950.
- Benson Center exterior rehab: EIFS repairs are nearing completion. John McClendon repaired gutter.
- Aquatic Center boiler building: Work on the block structure should begin in July.
- 3. Waste Water:
- WWTP Improvements Project: Christy is working with HDR to finalize contract and bid documents.
- Calvird Pump Station repairs: Working on #1 pump today (5/9). Should be completed by 5/19.
- Upper-Level Pump update: Incorrect pump was shipped. It will be 6-8 weeks for correct pump to ship. AWR staff said there are five pumps in service, with two operating at any one time, so there should not be any issues resulting from the shipping error.
- WWTP Permit Renewal: Public comment period ended 5/8. City will soon receive final version of permit.
- Alliance Local Manager position search: A new candidate will receive an offer today (5/9)
- Camera work quotes for I & I Project: AWR is soliciting bids for light cleaning and to camera selected lines that were identified in the recent I & I Study.

Resolution No. 06-2023 – A Resolution of the City Council of Clinton, Missouri (CITY) approving an agreement with Clinton Rural Fire Protection, Inc. (CRFP).
- 3. Fire Chief Manuel’s recommendation for 2023 fireworks dates:
- Sales: June 20 – July 4, 9 am – 10 pm each day
- Discharge: June 30 – July 4, 9 am – 11 pm each day
