Clinton Police Arrest Local Man on Felony Drug Charges Following Search Warrant Execution

A Clinton man is facing serious felony charges following the execution of a narcotics-related search warrant by the Clinton Police Department.

On Monday, officers conducted a search at 904 East Ohio Street, Apartment 4B, as part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics in the community. During the operation, authorities recovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine, as well as paraphernalia commonly used in the packaging and distribution of controlled substances.

Christopher Buxton, 36, was arrested at the scene and is now facing charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location, a felony under Missouri law.

The Clinton Police Department emphasized that this operation is part of its continued efforts to combat drug activity and ensure the safety of local neighborhoods.
