Clinton Police Department Weekly Arrest Report: June 20–26, 2025

The Clinton Police Department has released its weekly arrest summary, detailing a range of charges from assault and theft to forgery and animal cruelty. The following individuals were arrested between June 20 and June 26, 2025:

  • Sheryl Long, 65, of Clinton, was arrested on June 26 for shoplifting.

  • Brooke Zabriskie, 29, was arrested the same day on a felony charge of forgery.

  • Cassie Adkins, 36, was taken into custody on June 25 for first-offense canine cruelty.

  • Jeremy Jones, 40, of Clinton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

  • Diann Thomas, 73, of Clinton, was charged on June 23 for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

  • Hayley Dugan, 26, of Clinton, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

  • Jessica Candillo, 40, of Clinton, was arrested for shoplifting on June 22.

  • Sheila Rice, 50, faces two felony charges—stealing over $25,000 and forgery.

  • Sean Goodwin, 37, was also arrested on a warrant.

A series of arrests related to a June 21 incident included:

  • Johnathan Burchette (18), Josephine Clemison-Perez (22), Justin Bailey (19), and Xajavier McMillan (16), each charged with felony third-degree assault in a non-family incident.

  • Christy Eaton, 43, was arrested twice on June 21 for two counts of domestic assault in the fourth degree.

  • David Eaton, 51, was charged with third-degree domestic assault.

Additional arrests from earlier in the week included:

  • Josephine Clemison-Perez, arrested again on June 20 for assault.

  • James Degraffenried, 37, was arrested on June 20 for felony third-degree domestic assault.

The Clinton Police Department continues its efforts to ensure public safety and enforce local and state laws. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
