The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an assault that occurred shortly before midnight on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in the area of SW 1501 Road and SW 18 Highway.
At approximately 11:53 PM, a citizen traveling in the area observed a white male walking along SW 18 Highway. Acting out of concern, the citizen stopped to offer assistance. As they did, the male suddenly lunged into the vehicle and physically assaulted the citizen, causing injury before fleeing the area on foot.
The victim sustained injuries during the incident and later sought medical treatment at a local hospital.
The suspect is described as:
- White male
- Approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall
- Brown hair
- Wearing a black hoodie, possibly a white undershirt and blue jeans
- Unknown weight
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have been in the area of SW 1501 Road or SW 18 Highway during the late evening of June 10th, and who saw an individual matching this description or witnessed anything suspicious, to please contact our office.
