Henry County Sheriff’s Office Weekly Arrest and Incident Report

Dates: May 23, 2025 – May 29, 2025

Sheriff Aaron Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:
May 25, 2025 – Discharging a Firearm Within City Limits:
Sergeant Brandt conducted a follow-up investigation in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of David Forsythe, age 72, of Windsor, for discharging a firearm within city limits. Forsythe is suspected of firing a rifle in town to scare away animals.
May 26, 2025 – Arson:
Deputy Murphy conducted a follow-up investigation in the rural Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Deidre Trail, age 51, of Deepwater, for arson and possession of a controlled substance. Trail is suspected of setting a house on fire and was found to be in possession of a controlled substance at the time of arrest. A warrant for arson 2nd degree and possession of a controlled substance was issued for this investigation.
May 27, 2025 – Unlawful Use of a Weapon:
Deputy Stevens conducted a follow-up investigation in the Blairstown area that led to the arrest of Ellis Tuter, age 49, of Blairstown, on a 24-hour hold for unlawful use of a weapon. Tuter is suspected of brandishing a knife during a verbal altercation.
May 27, 2025 – Abuse or Neglect of a Child:
Deputy Murphy conducted a follow-up investigation in the Urich area that resulted in the arrest of Caitlin Snethen, age 29, of Urich, on a 24-hour hold for abuse or neglect of a child. A warrant was issued in connection with the investigation. Snethen is suspected of striking a child with a closed fist. A warrant for child abuse and neglect was issued for this investigation.
May 28, 2025 – Sexual Misconduct 2nd Degree:
Sergeant Baker and Deputy Hinkle conducted a follow-up investigation in the Deepwater area that led to the arrest of Stephanie Richardson, age 56, of Deepwater, on a 24-hour hold for sexual misconduct and peace disturbance. Richardson is suspected of exposing herself to minors and defecating on the side of the road. A warrant for sexual misconduct involving a child was issued for this investigation.
May 28, 2025 – Warrant Arrest:
Deputy Chaney conducted a traffic stop in the Urich area, resulting in the arrest of Thomas Dayringer, age 43, of Drexel, on a Henry County felony warrant for Burglary 1st Degree.
