The Clinton Chamber, some of our ambassadors, and others helped Central Methodist University celebrate 15 years in Clinton on May 23rd at the Truman Regional Education Complex. Also, thanks for lunch!

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce and our Ambassadors Committee are hosting a Legislative Luncheon.
We will start the program around 11:45 and if you are still eating, that’s certainly no problem. Our speakers will include State Senator Sandy Crawford, Clinton Mayor Carla Moberly, Henry Co. Commissioner Jim Stone, a representative for U.S. Senator Mark Alford and Clinton’s Economic Development Director Mark Dawson. Find out what is happening in Clinton, Henry Co., MO, and Washington D.C. There may be time for a short ‘question and answer session’ and/or a time to speak individually with each presenter. There will be sub sandwiches, chips, dessert, and drink. Just call or email YOUR Chamber to reserve your tickets (660-885-8166 or joyce@clintonmo.com).
We are also looking for sponsors for this event. Sponsor levels include $100 and $200 and there will be a program provided to attendees. Sponsors receive their logo in the program and one ($100) or two ($200) free tickets to the luncheon. Once again, you can call or email to become a sponsor. We certainly hope you plan on attending this event June 17th to hear from our elected officials talking about a variety of subjects. Seating will be limited. This is open to the public. City of Clinton, MO–City of Clinton SS4A Online Open House Questionnaire
The City of Clinton and Consultant CJW held an open house on May 14 at City Hall discussing street safety. We’d like to extend an invitation online to those who couldn’t attend but still want to have their voices heard. We are about a month away from Olde Glory Days 2025! The bands, other entertainment, carnival, stage and sound, fireworks, etc…Those contracts were signed last fall, so they are ready to go. We will of course feature the Veteran’s Dinner and so many of your favorites from the past, and new items for this year. This week, we continued our “Featured” segments on the Chamber’s Facebook page. We are now taking text and images from our member’s websites, Facebook pages, Google searches, etc. and combining them into posts on our Facebook page. “Featured with the GCACC”. It gives the viewer a “one-stop shopping experience” for each of our Chamber members. We have a lot of Chamber members so getting every business on our page will take quite a while, but we think its well worth it! It’s just another service from YOUR Chamber of Commerce. Are you needing a meeting space in Clinton? If so, the Chamber of Commerce may be able to help you out. The Chamber of Commerce building at 200 S. Main St. features a conference room with a table and chairs for about ten people, possibly more if needed. The room features a big screen TV with access to Internet, zoom and more, a sink, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, and restrooms. This room is available to members of the Clinton Chamber free of charge. It is also available to those that are not members of our Chamber, however there is a fee. The room can be used during business hours from 8am till 4:30pm Monday through Friday. After hours and weekend hours can be discussed.
