
Pettis County, MO – May 15, 2025 – Center for Human Services (CHS) was honored to host its first graduation ceremony as part of the Missouri Talent Pathways (MO-TAP) Apprenticeship Program, proudly celebrating team member Morgan Hetrick on the successful completion of the program and achievement of their new title as a Certified Direct Support Professional (CDSP).
The MO-TAP program, sponsored by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, was created to strengthen and stabilize the Direct Support Professional workforce by establishing a clear and sustainable career pathway. Offered through CHS, this year-long program includes on-the-job training, pay incentive, educational and compliance coursework, mentorship, community engagement, and a nationally recognized certification. “This program is critical for team members in our field. At CHS, we are proud to participate in the MO-TAP program and support such an honorable profession. Seeing Morgan become our first graduate fills us with pride and gratitude. My hope is that this program, and all its graduates, will continue to bring awareness and well deserved respect to this meaningful career path,” said Center for Human Services CEO, David Kramer.
