
On Friday morning, May 9, the community will be welcomed back to the newly remodeled Walmart store located at 1712 East Ohio Street as the project is now complete in its 55th anniversary year. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce and celebration will take place at the store, along with grant presentations totaling $10,000 to nine local nonprofit organizations making an impact on the community. The event will also include the recognition of several long-term Walmart associates. Attendees can enjoy refreshments, vendor giveaways and more.
Members of the community and media are invited inside the store to see the transformation that includes innovations and improvements designed to elevate the Walmart shopping experience.
