A Henry County jury has found Kimberly Olivia Gray, 46 of Clinton, guilty of all seventeen counts she faced, specifically six counts of sexual trafficking of a child in the first degree, three counts of rape in the first degree, seven counts of sodomy in the first degree, and one count of incest.

Henry County Prosecutor LaChrisha Gray prosecuted the case on behalf of the State of Missouri.

The charges stem from an online investigation conducted by the Division of Drug and Crime Control of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, which led investigators to execute multiple search warrants on the defendant’s residence and devices of the defendant and her boyfriend.

Highway Patrol investigators found multiple files containing what appeared to be photographs and videos of graphic child pornography, including numerous videos that appeared to have been created by the defendant with her boyfriend, in their home. The child in the footage was determined to be under the age of nine.

The defendant denied her involvement to law enforcement, which led the Missouri State Highway Patrol to enlist the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigations. A forensic examiner with the FBI was able to identify the defendant’s hands in the footage. Additionally, a forensic pediatrician with the Missouri State Technical Assistance Team was able to identify the defendant’s child, who was less than six years of age, in some of the footage.

The jury trial began Monday, April 14, 2025. One hundred and five Henry County citizens were summoned for selection. The State presented evidence over the course of several days, including footage. The jury returned a verdict the afternoon of Thursday, April 17, 2025.

The defendant will be sentenced at a later date by Circuit Judge M. Brandon Baker, which will be set on June 5, 2025.

Each sexual trafficking of a child conviction is punishable by a term of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole until the defendant has served twenty-five years in prison. Because the victims were under the age of twelve, each of the rape and sodomy in the first degree convictions are punishable by life imprisonment without the eligibility of parole until the defendant has served thirty years of such sentence. The maximum punishment for incest is four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
