Tickets are now available for the 2025 University of Central Missouri (UCM) President’s Gala, taking place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The gala, which happens just once every four years, celebrates student, faculty and alumni collaboration while raising needed funds to extend the educational benefits of the School of Visual and Performing Arts.
Titled “Illumination,” the gala will showcase the talents of students from each of the three areas of study within UCM’s School of Performing Arts: Art & Design, Music, and Theatre & Dance. Guest artist Jan Kraybill, the Grammy-nominated conservator of the Julia Irene Kauffman Casavant pipe organ in Helzberg Hall, will perform several works with students and faculty. KMBC First Alert Meteorologist Bryan Busby will emcee the event.
Tickets are $25 plus an $8 facility fee. An optional parking pass for the Kauffman Center garage can be purchased for $13. Group discounts are available. To secure your tickets, visit ucmo.edu/gala.
