Everbridge Implemented in Henry County

Henry County Emergency Management is excited to announce the implementation of Everbrige in Henry County. People in here county will now receive alerts about: Severe weather, drinking water contamination, evacuation or shelter-in-place notices, missing persons, fires or floods, bomb threats, Henry County Sheriff’s Alerts, hostage situations, chemical spills or gas leaks, and other emergency incidents where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety. Traffic advisories are also issued to inform you of road closures, along with various other community related messages. The information that you provide will be used for Alert notification purposes only. The county and Everbridge will not distribute or sell your contact or location information to any vendor or other organization.
IS THERE AN APP?
There is a free app for Android and iPhone users, however you must already have a registered account to use it. Search Google Play or the Apple Store for Everbridge and select the “Everbridge” app. Once you download the App, simply log in with your username and password to activate. Just click the link below and get an Everbridge username and password. Then click on the alerts you want to receive and how you want them received and that’s it! For serious threats to life or property, ALL of Henry County will be included automatically through a WEA (WIRELESS EMERGENCY ALERT) that will be sent by us directly to your cell phone, regardless of reception. Examples would be Tornado Warning, Terror Threat, Mass Casualty Event, etc.
