
Sheriff Aaron N. Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week of 01/17/2025 to 01/23/2025:
- January 17, 2025 – Warrant Arrest: Sergeant Richardson arrested Racheal Nelson, age 40, of Clinton, on Cass County warrants for failing to appear on the original offense of driving while suspended and failing to register a motor vehicle. Nelson turned herself in at the Sheriff’s Department.
- January 18, 2025 – Rape Investigation: Sergeant Brandt conducted a follow-up rape investigation in the Clinton area, resulting in the arrest of Patrick Corne, age 30, of Clinton. Corne was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for the alleged offense of rape.
- January 20, 2025 – DWI Investigation: Sergeant Baker, Cpl. England, and Deputy Murphy investigated a motor vehicle accident in the Windsor area, resulting in the arrest of Damen Barnett, age 21, of Windsor, for the alleged offense of driving while intoxicated and consuming an alcoholic beverage while operating a motor vehicle.
- January 21, 2025 – Warrant: Sergeant Logan and Sergeant Baker conducted a follow-up investigation in the Clinton area, resulting in the arrest of Sean Madison, age 36, of Clinton, on three Henry County warrants and two Bates County warrants. The warrants were for various traffic charges and a public order crime.
- January 21, 2025 – Warrant: On January 21, 2025, Cpl. England and Deputy Cole arrested Stella Talburt, age 54, of Windsor, on a Henry County warrant for failing to appear on the original offense of possession of a controlled substance.
- January 21, 2025 – Probation Violation: Sergeant Richardson arrested Ola Myers, age 45, of Clinton, and Karlene Waage, age 39, of Clinton, on contempt of court offenses at the Courthouse.
- January 22, 2025 – Warrant: Deputy Romi was conducting civil process service in the Clinton area and arrested William White, age 32, of Clinton, on a Henry County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Note: All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are only allegations at this time.
The Jail Administrator reports 78 male and 18 female inmates being held at the Henry County Detention Center.

Fewell Wildlife, Clinton Airport, Deepwater Bluff, Finey Boat Ramp, KCP&L/Montrose, Ladue Bottoms, MFA/Anhydrous, Montrose Lake, Mullin Cemetery, Party Pit, Pogue Wildlife, Sky Village, S.O. French Bridge, Tightwad Ramp, Urich Wildlife, and Whitaker Lake.
