
The Henry County Commission met pursuant to adjournment at the courthouse in Clinton, Missouri.
Those members present were: Jim Stone – Presiding Commissioner
Dale Lawler – South District Commissioner
Amy Heredia – Deputy County Clerk
Those members absent were: Rick Fosnow-North District Commissioner
Rick Watson- County Clerk
At 12:59 p.m. Commissioner Stone brought the meeting to order.
The agenda was approved as presented.
The minutes from the Thursday August 29th, 2024 meeting were read; Commissioner Lawler made a motion to approve the minutes. Commissioner Stone seconded the motion, motion carried.
Expenditures from the following were approved to be paid:
County Payroll Employee Benefits Road and Bridge
General County Government Court Administration Buildings and Grounds
Circuit Clerk Law Enforcement Fund Law Enforcement Training Fund
Assessor ARPA
Dennis Bowers, Road and Bridge Supervisor, attended the meeting.
At 1:14 p.m. the Commission returned a call from Lindsey Chaffin with Great River Engineering regarding plans for a BRO bridge on NW 400 Rd in White Oak Township. Linsdey shared that she would be meeting with neighboring property owners that afternoon.
Dennis shared that an employee quit without notice that morning. Dennis does not see a need to replace him until spring. The group discussed ongoing road projects in the county.
At 1:25 p.m. Commissioner Lawler made a motion to adjourn, Commissioner Stone seconded the motion, motion carried.
