Hello! We are West Central Missouri Community Action Agency/New Growth, a non-profit organization that helps many
low-income families and individuals in Missouri in a variety of ways.
Last year alone we served over 10,500 customers. Over 111 homes repaired & weatherized, over 6,000 households received
LIHEAP (Low-Income Housing Energy Assistance Program), over 5,800 rides were provided, 2,236 persons received food
distributions and over 397 persons moved into our low-income multifamily housing properties.
With current government funding, many of our programs are at risk of losing much needed support. This not only affects
the people we serve, but our employees who work tirelessly helping our customers. We are looking for more unrestricted
funding sources to keep our life changing programs running efficiently and effectively.
Along with our Festival of Charites we put on in the fall, we will be hosting a fundraiser called “Bingo for Kiddos”. This
event will be held at Olde Crow Winery in Clinton, MO on September 20, 2024 beginning at 6:00 pm. There will be
food, drinks, games such as “music bingo”, a comedian, prizes, raffles and so much more! All proceeds raised go directly
into the above-mentioned programs but more specifically to provide holiday and birthday gifts for kiddos in our region that
would otherwise not receive gifts.
If you are interested in donating a prize for the games, silent auction item, or making a cash donation, we would truly
appreciate your generosity! We will mention your business or name on social media, in the newspaper, on event literature,
and provide receipts for tax deduction purposes. We are including a brochure about our agency and the resources we
provide with this letter.
