New Operations Project Manager at Truman Dam

Harry S. Truman Dam & Reservoir has a new Operations Project Manager (OPM). Please join us in welcoming Rich Chiles. Rich began his career here at Harry S. Truman in 1990 while attending college at Missouri State University. After graduation, Rich traveled to Mountain Home, Arkansas to work at Bull Shoals Lake. Then he transferred to Carlyle Lake in Illinois. Rich and his family moved back to Warsaw in 1999 where he served as a park ranger, chief ranger, Stockton Lake Manager, Truman Power Plant Manager, Stockton OPM, and is now serving as the Harry S. Truman OPM. Rich has over 30 years of service and experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Rich and his wife Chanda reside in Warsaw, Missouri. Both are natives of the Truman Lake area, having grown up in Henry and St. Clair Counties. They have made their home in Benton County for over 25 years now.
Today Rich met with Project Staff to introduce himself. “The Osage River runs through my veins. Truman is more than a place I work; it is my home”.
