GVMH received a grant from Healthy Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for $1.5 million over three years to fund a new program for nurses called Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention Simulation Education Training Program (NEPQR-SET) and build a simulation lab. At GVMH, the lab has top-of-the line equipment that rivals that at larger organizations and teaching schools across the US and provides a comprehensive hands-on learning experience for nursing staff and students.
