Late last night and early this morning of May 29th, the Criminal Apprehension Unit conducted
directed patrol activities in northwest Cass County, resulting in the arrest of eight
people.
Among the eight arrests, four people had felony warrants, one had a felony drug charge
and three others had misdemeanor warrants.
A stolen car was also recovered with a separate set of stolen license plates.
The CAU assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Cass County Sheriff’s
Office Patrol Division with two pursuits in the overnight hours.
“The Criminal Apprehension Unit is a vital tool that allows us to quickly deploy additional
deputies and resources. This specialized unit is one of the many ways we Keep Cass
County Safe,” said Sheriff Jeff Weber.
