City of Clinton’s Parks and Recreation Department confirmed today that the Artesian Park Pool will not open as scheduled. The Saturday, May 25th opening has been moved to the Indoor Aquatic Center facility at the Benson Center while repairs are made to a 6 foot section of piping to the Pumping Station at the Artesian Park facility. The section to be repaired, is part of the chemical balance system and must be full functional for the operation of the pool. The repairs are expected to take 3 weeks to complete, at which time the Artesian Park facility will open for the season at that time.
