building Wed., and the Chamber of Commerce and some of our Ambassadors were there for the ribbon

Congratulations to TC-Transcontinental on their 10-year Anniversary! The Chamber and some of our

The Clinton Technical School Car Show will be held in the Technical School parking lot on Saturday, May
11th, 2024. The proceeds from the show will support students in SkillsUSA, our Career and Technical Student
Organization (CTSO). Show-day registration is $40 from 8-11 am. Judging begins at noon. Awards begin at 2
pm.    There will be food available for purchase the day of the car show as well as corn hole, face-painting,
music, and more.    There will be 10 categories.  There will also be prizes given to the top three student
vehicles as well as a crowd favorite. This brings us to a total of 17 awards/prizes that will be handed out on

Cruise to Clinton Cruise Night is a cruise-in held on the Clinton, MO Square, from 4pm till 7pm on the 2nd
Saturday of the month from May thru October.  Plenty of shade and parking available, with food vendors on
site and a DJ playing music and giveaways. After several cruise nights there will be an actual short cruise.

Free Cognitive Screenings offered May 14 at Henry County Health Center and Community Resource Fair with
prizes, vendors, Alzheimer screenings and more.
Medicare recommends individuals aged 65 and older undergo yearly screenings for cognitive impairment.
Younger adults experiencing concerns or symptoms should also be screened. Early detection of cognitive
impairment is vital for timely intervention and planning.
The Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) Research Department and the Missouri Memory Center in Bolivar,
Missouri, will host Free Cognitive Screenings on May 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Henry County Health
Center, 111 N. 3rd St., in Clinton. Pre-registration is required; call 417-328-7781 to schedule.
The screenings, administered by trained staff and lasting about 30 minutes, provide immediate results for
discussion with primary care providers.

have joined teams to host Clinton’s first ever boutique crawl!   How it works:  Pick up your passport/map at
the first participating business you visit. Get your passport stamped at ALL participating shops. Turn your
card in to the last shop you visit and be entered to win CASH prizes! No purchases necessary to be
stamped.  1st prize: $500    2nd prize: $300    3rd prize: $200    Winners will be drawn LIVE around 4:30pm on

Guardians of the Children Annual Dice Run 2024 Fundraiser. Rain or Shine. Bring your bikes, trucks or cars.
May 18 th at the Eagles Lodge, 723 North 3 rd Street in Clinton. Open to the public. Dice Run pot will be 50/50.
Highest total wins. Registration at 10:30am, kickstands up at 11am. There’s also a bike show, 50/50 raffle,

Hats Off For Hot Meals, Kickin’ Chicken Dinner and Hat Auction.  May 19 th .  Lunch from 11 till 1, hat auction at
1:00.  A great meal and a chance to bid on a large collection of vintage and modern hats for both men and

women.  Meal price at the door is $15 for adults, $10 for kids under 12.  This event is open to the public and
will benefit the programs at Care Connection/Clinton Senior Center.
