A Gas Line on the Southeast Corner of the Clinton Square was hit by a construction worker at approximately 3 pm. Adjacent businesses, including the Clinton Chamber of Commerce were evacuated while the problem was brought under control. A representative for the Henry County Dispatch, informed us at approximately 3:50 pm, that the situation was under control and that traffic in the area was allowed to resume and employees of the nearby businesses would be allowed to return to their shops shortly.
