Facilities Update: Had the AQ center roof repaired. The pipe that feeds the filters broke and has caused temp fluctuations. We have intentionally lowered the temp to 86.  We have started the outdoor prep for the spring sports season and mowing. Westport is supposed to start any day on the parking lot at the outdoor pool. The island will be removed and a 9” drain pipe is being placed.  Working on the slide for Hurt Park and then we will schedule a ribbon cutting ceremony.  CCA is completing a site selection tour for Volleyball Tournaments. We have ordered a few new tables for the Benson Center.  We are also deep cleaning the walls and floors in the Benson Center. Snowflake Garage sale was a big success.  The building is booked every weekend through the May 4th with one exception in April. The Great Wall on Terrorism Wall of Remembrance will be here on Thursday May 2, 2024 through Sunday May 5th. It is free and open to the public.  It will be placed in the North parking lot.

The Nets tournament was here last Friday/Saturday with 50 teams, used the Community Center courts and several other courts in town. It brought a lot of tourism into Clinton.

Program Update: We will host a Nike Basketball Camp in June with Jimmy Parks all ages through High School.  We are starting soccer season earlier.  We are staggering times to help alleviate parking issues.
