A fatal crash occurred as vehicle 1, driven by Jesse F Raybourn, age 41 of Deepwater, MO ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, became airborne, landed, and struck a tree. The crash was assisted by Trooper T.R. Willams, Deepwater Fire, and the Henry County Sheriff’s Department. The driver was pronounced deceased by coroner Dain Sisk at 2214 hours and transported to Vansant Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, MO. The passenger of the vehicle was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
On Tuesday, October 31, 2023 a crash occurred as vehicle 1, driven by Carolyn M Simmons, age 85 of Clinton, MO drove into the path of vehicle 2, driven by Billy M Bruce, age 85 of Clinton, MO. Vehicle 2 attempted to avoid the collision, but was unable to and struck vehicle 1 from the rear. The crash was assisted by TPR D.J. Maupin /1369/. The driver of vehicle 2 was transported by EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
On Wednesday, November 1, 2023 a crash occurred as vehicle 1, driven by Jerry L Keightley, age 66 of Weaubleau, MO traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck the guardrail. The crash was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Department. The driver was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
