On Wednesday, September 20, 2023 a fatal crash occurred as vehicle 1, driven by Thomas R Malloy, age 51 of Deepwater, MO failed to stop at T-intersection and traveled off the roadway. Vehicle 1 then overturned, ejecting driver 1 and passenger 1. The crash was assisted by conservation agents K Davis and J Fisher, Henry County Deputies, and Clinton Police. Driver 1 was pronounced dead by Dr. N Griego at 0013 at Cass Regional Medical Center. The passenger of vehicle 1 was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
