On Saturday, September 9, 2023 a crash occurred as the vehicle, driven by Morgan M Wilson, age 32 of Deepwater, MO traveled off the roadway, struck a culvert and became airborne. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest on its side. The crash was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Department. The driver was transported to Golden Valley Medical Center by EMS with moderate injuries.
On Sunday, September 10, 2023 a crash occurred as vehicle 2, driven by Kristopher T Wilson, age 34 of Warrensburg, MO crossed the center of the roadway into the path of vehicle 1, driven by Jeffrey A Milam, age 70 of Warsaw, MO. Vehicle 1 and 2 struck head on. After impact, both vehicles traveled off the south side of the roadway and came to rest. Driver 2 was pronounced deceased on scene by assistant coroner Paul Abbott at 0150. The crash was assisted by Henry County Deputies. The driver of vehicle 2 was transported to Consalus Funeral Home. The driver of vehicle 1 was transported to Golden Valley Hospital by Golden Valley EMS with minor injuries. The occupant of vehicle 1 was transported to St. Lukes on the Plaza by Life Flight Eagle Air Ambulance with moderate injuries.
