Hello, my name is Melissa Hillier. I am the Property Management Coordinator for Antioch Hills in Clinton, MO. We are a multi -family low Income housing property. We are owned by West Central Missouri Community Action Agency, a non profit organization that helps many low- income families in Missouri.
We have 90 families, a total of 141 individuals, that live on our property. 31 children, and over 40 seniors. Every year for the holiday season we do a dinner party for the residents. We put together small gifts of clothing/toys for the children, as well as basic necessities for our senior citizens and single person households. All of our families struggle to make ends meet on a daily basis.
Our goal this year is to reach $4230 in cash and goods combined. That is $30 per person. This will all go towards a homecooked meal and a gift of necessity for each resident at Antioch Hills.
If you are able to help us out in anyway this holiday season, or any time throughout the year with necessary household items, discount coupons or a simple cash donation, we would truly appreciate your generosity! We will provide receipts for tax deduction purposes by the end of the year.
