The Clinton Fire Department would like to invite you to fire headquarters on Thursday, August 3rd at 10:00 am for a CELEBRATION as they officially place their new fire engine (Engine 4) into service. The members of the Clinton Fire Department will be performing a traditional “Push In” ceremony of Engine 4 into fire station.
The Clinton Fire Department and the City of Clinton would like to thank the citizens of Clinton for the passing of the ¼ cent fire tax in April of 2017. This makes the 3rd fire apparatus purchased with funds from the tax. Engine 4 will take over the workload of their current frontline fire engine, a 1993 KME Fire Apparatus. The 30 year old KME will remain in service and serve as a reserve engine for the fire department.
