WELCOME TO THE CARDINAL TEAM
The Clinton School District is excited to welcome BACK April Cole! April, a 1999 CHS graduate, will be teaching preschool this year at Clinton Early Childhood Center.
April is bringing 17 years of teaching experience to our littlest Cardinals. For the past two years Mrs. Cole has also held leadership roles in her previous district as a member of the instructional technology coaching team, as well as overseeing the implementation of curriculum last school year.
Mrs. Cole has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Central Missouri. She is also Google Level I and II Certified, and has been trained in the Orton-Gillingham reading approach by the Institute for Multisensory Education. She is currently working on Orton-Gillingham Certification and LETRS reading training.
April and her husband, David, live in Montrose with their 3 daughters. Mallory will be a freshman, Bethany will be in 7th grade, and Deborah will be a 3rd grader. Together, they enjoy kayaking, fishing, farming, swimming, and boating. In her free time, April enjoys reading, cooking, baking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
